August is synonymous to festivities

August in India is the time when residents and visitors alike get their party face on and celebrate the India’s traditional and most popular festivals. Some of them include, but are not limited to the Monsoon Festival, the Jhapan Mela, the Onam, the Gogamedi Fair and the Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race. Needless to say, these events make Indians overseas more homesick this time of year. Thankfully, WatchIndia.TV has put together a number of programs for the month of August that may keep them from yearning to join the festivities in the Motherland.

Awaited Bollywood Movie- Joker

The upcoming bollywood movie, Joker is an Hindi adventured film full of fantasy.It is the first 3D film which is made by Shirish Kunder(director). The actor of the movie is Akshay Kumar with the actress Sonakshi Sinha. It is gonna be the fourth film in Hindi which is to be released in both the formats, that is, 2D and 3D. The previous four movies were Haunted , Ra.One and Don 2. The film has reached its post-production stage and is set to be released on 30th of this August. The first shooting of this movie was scheduled in Ludhiana, but somehow the location was changed from Ludhiana to Chandigarh. The shooting for this movie started on 14 February 2011 at the newly decided venue, Chandigarh. The soundtracks of the film are composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, who is the nephew of  A. R. Rahman, a known composer.  A.R.Rahman is now on his Bollywood debut. The initial song for the upcoming movie Joker, has already been recorded. The singers of that song are Daler Mehndi and Sonu Kakkar.

The movie, EK THA TIGER roars with mixed-cultured imported feel, a singer targets the high category of listeners. Unlike the uneven tracks of DABANGG, WANTED, READY or BODYGUARD. This time Sohail Sen shows his brawny skills by a collection containing various international level sounds in tracks like "Laapata" (Latin American), "Saiyaara" (Indian Sufism) and "Banjaara" (Irish folk), an effort that might convert itself into a unique prospect on the huge screen of bollywood. Sajid-Wajid (guest composer) delivers his prayers to his only Alla in the song named "Mashallah" (Arabic), a dancing number that is already above the cloud waves for this thriller item. The lavish productions value, along with its face value and superb heroic stunts, EK THA TIGER is considered to aim big on its audio stands and is most likely to be enjoyed by the viewers. 

Ek Tha Tiger - A Flop !

The recently released Ek Tha Tiger did not come close to the expectations of the viewers and the public was highly disappointed with both the story line and the acting. 

The movie definitely lacked a story line and the only thing thing that was constant in the movie was stunts after regular intervals!!
The move definitely seems like a khichdi. In the same way how the movie, Wanted - Partner - Garv were carbon copies of south indian films. The movie has tried to make the most of its star cast where Salman Khan is seen taking off his shirt and showing off his biceps.. Katrina  has very little relevance in the movie and we definitely feel that her role could have been stronger..  It seemed Sallu Bhai was promoting his relation with Katrina, who was before this release was away from the limelight of bollywood.

It seems as if Shahrukh Khan is proving himself as if he is 'The King' of not only bollywood, but also of the Tellyland. The Times Of India in a survey found out that the King Khan is charging 2.5 crores per episode for his upcoming reality TV Show, Zor Ka Jhatka on Imagine TV Channel.

Release of Jism 2 takes Sunny Leone to the heights of the bollywood platform , the Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone on this Tuesday states that she would spend the next two years acting in Bollywood.

“I am amazed by the love I am getting from the people of India. In the upcoming years, I will be doing more films. And I am going to give my hundred percent to my newly built career” Sunny told reporters. She has already signed a film to be produced by the producer Ekta Kapoor.

The movie-trailer of Karan Johar's production "Student of the Year"  will be out on the festival of Rakhi Aug 2, said the film-maker.

The 40-year-old used Twitter to unseal the news, and wrote that The first trailer of 'Student Of The Year' will be out on the 2nd of August.
