August is synonymous to festivities

August in India is the time when residents and visitors alike get their party face on and celebrate the India’s traditional and most popular festivals. Some of them include, but are not limited to the Monsoon Festival, the Jhapan Mela, the Onam, the Gogamedi Fair and the Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race. Needless to say, these events make Indians overseas more homesick this time of year.
